Product Introduction

This is an intelligent winding system born for flexible production. It’s not just a machine, but an easily managed and adjustable production unit. Through a user-friendly touch screen interface, you can effortlessly switch production tasks—whether for 5mm or 19mm strap width, or 152mm or 190mm tube length. The equipment supports two measurement modes, “by length” and “by weight,” meeting diverse order requirements. Its adaptive tension control system intelligently matches material characteristics, ensuring quick and stable production after specification changes. This system integrates intelligent control, wide adaptability, and efficient operation, making it a powerful tool for coping with multi-variety, small-batch markets.

Main Functions

1) Uses a servo motor for traversing guidance. Winds PP strapping bands with widths from 5 to 19 mm. Select the corresponding strap width on the touch screen for winding.

2) Requires a paper core (mandrel) and features automatic outer-layer film wrapping. After winding is completed, the machine stops automatically, replaces the paper tube, cuts the strapping band, clamps and secures the band head, wraps the outer layer with film, flips the finished coil 90 degrees onto the conveyor belt, returns to the origin, and continues the automatic winding process. The entire cycle is completed automatically.

3) The winding shaft is driven by a servo gear motor. The winding speed is regulated by controlling the angle position of the tension arm. Tension can be adjusted via the spring screw, allowing appropriate winding tension for strapping bands of different weights or widths, minimizing curvature deformation after winding.

4) After winding is complete, the discharged strapping band is automatically moved onto the conveyor.

5) Measurement modes: Two modes available: by length (meter) and by weight.

Q1: Is it complicated to switch production to straps of different widths? How long does it take?
A1: The operation is very simple, primarily involving selecting the new “strap width” parameter on the touch screen, a process that takes only seconds. The machine’s servo traversing system will automatically adjust its stroke. If the paper tube specification remains the same, the new task can be started immediately, enabling quick changeover.

Q2: How should I choose between “By Length” and “By Weight” mode?
A2: This depends on your production and customer requirements. “By Length” mode is suitable for sales by length or when there are strict requirements on coil length. “By Weight” mode is suitable for sales by weight, or when the strap weight per meter has slight variations, ensuring constant weight per coil.
